A Toast on the Coast

GiFT is growing, and we’re launching the GiFT Gets You There program here in San Francisco! This program provides parking and transportation assistance to families with newborns in the intensive care nursery (ICN) at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital.

We’re hosting A Toast on the Coast, a special food-and-wine pairing fundraising event Sunday, September 28, 2–5 p.m., at A Grape In the Fog, a lovely wine bar along the coast in Pacifica.

We need your help to pull this off. We’re looking for in-kind donations of food and wine to maximize the funds helping the families, as well as in-kind donations for our raffle.

The wine bar can hold 70 people. We’re going for a sell-out and need your help to promote our fundraiser. Please invite your friends, family, and colleagues to the event by sharing the Facebook event page, forwarding this email, or sharing the Eventbrite registration page.

Because UCSF is a regional center, families travel long distances and face steep parking fees in order to visit their babies in the intensive care nursery. According to social workers, GiFT Gets You There is the most valuable program for families with babies in the ICN.
